The Liturgy of the Table

Invitation to the Communion Table:

Prayer of God’s Grace

From the east and the west, the north and the south, we gather in the presence of the Holy One.

Bringing our joy and our sorrow, with assurance and with trepidation, we come together around this table.

To those who love us and to those who fear and despise us, we proclaim that the power of God is at work in our lives.

Once we were not a people, now we are the people of God. Amen.

Amen.
